Karixma - I tried to use the left over rubber also for spinner cards. And I did try to use my hole punch. But I never thought of pulling the foam and rubber apart first. Great idea. I was going to make the spinner for a stamp camp, but I didn't have any dimensionals and I didn't like how the spinner came out using my rubber scraps, so I tanked the whole idea until I had ordered the dimensionals. I wonder how many millions of spinner cards I will have to make to go thru all that rubber scrap I have accumulated.
I went to the link and saw nothing about spin card instructions...so I went back to the post and it does not have a attachment place where I cna link onto...HELP
On page 6 of this topic, in Joleen's reply, you will see at the bottom of the reply a link to a "spin card instuctions.doc" file. click on that, and it should take you right to the document. hope this helps.

You are amazing! This technique is too cool. it was a feat but I found the instructions..on page 6. I have to say I LOVE your instruction pictures, so very professional. I love to use the SU! grid paper under my projects too.
Hi! I'm new to stamping and this site. (Love it!) Just signed up as a demo and waiting for my kit!
I decided to try this spinner card and can't get mine to spin. I thought maybe, even with the demensionals, i needed more space between cards so i put 2 demonsionals on top of eachother! still didn't work! Any ideas?
I have made a ton of spinner cards, and here is what I found out:
When using Stampin' Dimensionals you need to cut the slit to be just a hair under 1/2" wide (the line right before the 1/2" mark on your ruller).
The size of the slit really has to do with the size of the pop dot you are putting between the two pennies. It's just good advice to start out with a smaller dimension because you can always cut more off, but can't put more on.
The Stampin' Dimensionals now only come in the thinner size, but they work just fine. You do not need to double up.
Give this a try, and hopefully you'll be enjoying showing everyone your fun new card!!!
WOW! That is such a great tutorial! I have absolutely no questions about how to do this technique...which is a first, b/c I ususally have some part of the explanations that I read on boards or groups that I just "don't get". thanks so much for posting this...I might have to make one this afternoon :o)

Hi Lori,
On Joleen's very first post to this thread, look below her website link to her yahoo group. She has posted a link to the spinner card document there. It's terrific!!
Thank you Joleen!!
Like many others, need to locate spinner directions
Sorry for being a repeat questioner. :( I am logged in, but the link for the instructions do not show up for me..every time I search a new page, my user id. disappears... anyway....
Would someone kindly send the instructions to me or send me the direct link....a million thanks....I am a few days new to this site, so it is probably operator induced hysteria ..hahha
You should see the spinner cards that Shelli showed us at the Reno Regional! They were SO cute! She did one with pictures of her children - it had a spinner (I forget what it was, probably a heart or something) to spin clear around in a circle. She had one with the Bot builder that went around in a rectangular pattern, like a puzzle. She had one with a Soccer ball that rolled into a Magic Mesh goal and BEST of all (drumroll please...) she had an ice cream cone where the ice cream scoop would fall off and roll to the ground! <Tee hee!>
No wonder she is head of this company, she does come up with some very creative ideas.
I did get some pictures of these, but I haven't had a chance to sort them out and download them from my camera. Got back from Regional on Sunday and I have a Stamp Camp tomorrow with all my new techniques!
Thanks so much for the great detailed instructions!! I'm a SU demo and I had a downline member of mine asking me how to do these and I had no idea and never even heard of it before!
I did my first spinner as well and the 1/4 in. was not quite big enough, not sure why, but I kept cutting a little more and a little more but it still doesn't quite spin freely...sometimes it will but sometimes it sticks...any ideas?
Joleen!!!
Thank you! Thank you!
I read instructions for spinner cards somewhere else and didn't quite understand. It scared me. Now I feel like I will be able to go home and make one of these.
I need to get creative and figure out a cute Christmas card. (How many pennies would that be?? :o )
Thanks again for great and easy to understand instructions.
