I am trying to order the 120 Prismacolor Pencil Set from Viking. It says that they are out of stock. Does anyone know if I go through and put it on back order will it still let me use the code and get them for the $50+ dollars?

I too order from Viking and recently ordered the 48 package and they were in stock. Do you order online or from the catalog?

I order online and it said out of stock. I am afraid that if I go ahead and put it on back order I will not get the discount price.

You can still get the Prismacolor pencils. Call the customer service at (800)711-4242. I had this backorder problem in January. I just called customer service, told them that it wouldn't let me order them over the internet, so the lady took my order over the phone & I got them that way. Plus I got the $20 off over the phone too. Have your coupon codes ready to give the operator.

I ordered mine online back in January as well. They were backordered. When they finally came in I got them at the dicounted price of $56, but I did not get the $20 credit for first time order, even though I used the code online. I called Viking and they gave me a $20.00 credit. So I only paid $36 for the 120 set.

I finally did it!! I ordered the Prismacolors and got the discount!! I also order 2 boxes of envelopes and a mono refill. I got $20 off the order. So I got everything for $52.50!!! And it will be delivered tomorrow!!! Can't wait!! Now I need to get the gamasol stuff and stumps and I will be ready to go!!!

OH MY!!! I ordered my Prismacolors yesterday and they were just delivered!!! The case is even impressive!!! And when you look inside, I never realized what 120 colored pencils could look like!!! I am so excited!!!!
