Default Polished Stone

When doing the polished stone technique, can someone tell my why it is necessary to seal the project after it is finished with either acrylic sealer or hair spray? i've used both and I find my stamp sticks to the project even long after I've let it dry.

You only have to seal them if you are using metallic re-inkers. They'll flake off if you don't. If you're just using regular re-inkers you don't have to seal it.

Thanks so much. I didn't know that about the metallic re-inkers.
