Default Paint can question?

I am final going to try this, and was wondering how other creative people delt with the gap in the back. sense the paper is not big enough.
Do you cut an extra strip of the same card stock or paper to place over it? or is there paper out there big enough to go all the way around, like wrapping paper? What do you do?
Thanks for your help.
Valerie

I have one of these from my last round SS, and she made side seams.

I am wondering what type of glue you use for paper to paint can

I'm getting ready to do my first one but I read that you use to sheets of paper and seam it on the sides and use sticky strip to hole it together. Hope that helps!

I made my very first paint can this winter as a teacher's gift. I found my glue Gun worked the best. Have fun with your project, they come out so cute!

I use carpet tape to hold mine. I made a template (after several tries of measuring and remeasuring) and seam mine on the sides where the handle is. To hide the seam I usually use a narrow width of ribbon. I think the ribbon adds a nice touch
