Default Joseph's Coat help...

I love this technique, but it smears on whatever I put on top of it. Should I seal it with something???

I did the rainbow brayer, clear embossed my image and then brayered on my dark color. It looks great, but just gets all over the paper I put on top of it. I'm creating a technique and idea book and don't want ink all over the page it faces or have to cover it with something else.

You have to make sure it is very dry between steps. I have never had a problem with it running or smearing. Are you using glossy cardstock?

Default joseph's coat

You may have tried this already, but take a tissue and wipe the dark ink off of your embossed image. We just did this at stamp camp last week and it wiped the dark ink off making the brayers image really pop off the paper.

Just a thought,
Jody

Yes, I'm using the glossy cardstock (I am supposed to right?). I'll try using a tissue and wiping it off. Thanks!

Did using the tissue solve your problem?
