Default Which ink for what paper??

Im working on my Save the Dates. I found a postcard stamp that I like so I was wondering, what ink works better with kraft paper? They wont be in envelopes so Im kind of nervous that they may get wet even though Im writing the addresses in permanent ink. But would dye or pigment ink work better? Or is there another type that is good and what brand?

Hi and welcome to SCS!

You are doing postcards? (no envelopes) How many?

Inks will tell you if they are water based which you dont want...

Archival was a good suggestion and they are widely available. Craft stores, stamp stores, Blick art, online-they are from Ranger...I would think you would not need to get a re-inker for this once off. But black is a good basic color to have in general if you are a stamper so I would if you are getting that color. Just know their pads might leak a bit and be a little messy as recently reported here.

Im doing about 100 theyre a little under 6x4 in size and on Recollections (Michaels craft store brand) grey craft paper. I tried to post pictures of the stamp & save the date, but I havent posted enough. I was planning on using black.
