Default How to: Fabric Covered Frames

I am attempting to make gifts with my stamping inside a frame. But I want to cover the frame in matching fabric. Does anyone know how to do this?

Let's try this...
This site has a pdf file you could print out...

This does not use batting like the Carol Duvall frame shows, but it's great for the basic idea.
This from The Carol Duvall Show...

To create a decoupage picture frame, cut a piece of batting to the size and shape of a plain picture frame. Place the frame on a fabric scrap and trace out the interior and exterior sides with a pen. Make an "X" in the shape by connecting the opposite corners with two straight lines, then cut along the lines to create four triangular flaps. Glue the batting to the frame, then center over the fabric.

Once you've centered the frame, simply pull the fabric around the frame and trim away the excess. The result is a neatly padded picture frame.
Here's a link with a couple pics...

I've done it before, and it's easy! This can help get you started, and get your creative juices flowing!
HTH!
