Question Help w/Dryer Sheet Technique

I posted this for help in the Techniques section, but I'm not getting any responses. Can any of you help?

I stamped some snowflake OSW's and added spray glue and glitter before applying a dryer sheet over them. There are spots on the dryer sheet that just don't seem to be adhering. What am I overlooking? I did try some additional spray, but still some spots don't seem to be sitcking. I know it must be obvious, but I'm just not getting it.

I had the same problem. I finally tried SU glue stick and just glued the daylights out of the cardstock and it finally stuck. I had to go back to a few places and added more adhesive. I also added the glitter after all the layers were glued together, because I kept smirring it everywhere. So now I just adhere the dryer sheet, glue everything to place and then add glitter and spray with hairspray to keep it in place

I hope this helps some. Don't give up, I am doing this today for my club and I know they will love it. The hubbies will also love it considering I am specifically telling the wives they need to do LAUNDRY first before they start stamping for this technique, ha !

I re-read your post and wanted to add that I worked with 5"x4" piece of cardstock. It was not such a hassle having to fix only a few spots that needed regluing back.

Thanks, Jana. I stamped my OSW's and cut them in half because a dryer sheet seemed to fit pretty well that way. Guess I may have to try to get some more glue under them somehow.

I pressed the cardstock upside down too to adhere the sheet better. We will be doing this tonight with my club members, I will let you know if we come up with a better way to do it. To me it was a technique that was, oh-so-easy, once I got it to stick, ha!
