Help with uploading of photos...

Please tell me how long it takes to upload a card, etc. The little status bar on my computer never gets to the end. So, when i try again I sometimes get two of the same items uploaded. But sometimes they don't load. Is there more of a tutorial than on the "Help" on that page?

This same thing happeneded to me yesterday! All I could do was wait until everything updated (2 hours plus) and I could delete all the extras. I also think that I uploaded too many pic's at a time. I'm computerly challenged so I just chalked it up to user error (me!). I hope everything works out for you.

I tried to upload photos and the message was the photo was too big - I made it the smallest size but still it wouldn't upload. any ideas??? I'm using Windows photo gallery as my photo library/edit device. thanks!!

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with Windows photo gallery, so I can't offer specific advice.

I used the technique of resizing on my camera and was able to upload photos- thanks for the help! Now to take more photos and upload them into my gallery.

Here's the easiest way I have found to resize a photo:

Right-click on the photo on your computer. In the menu that pops up, look for "Open With" and when you have your cursor "hover" over that, you will see another menu. Choose Paint.

In Paint, at the upper left corner, you'll see a resize option.

Click "resize" and then choose "pixels.'

Highlight the largest number (either the vertical or horizontal, whichever is largest), and change it to 2040. Just type 2040 and hit <enter> or "ok."

Then "X" out of Paint and you'll be asked if you want to save -- hit <enter> or "yes".

That's it! The change in the photo will be negligible. . . but SCS will like it!
