Help!!! How Do You Use The Brayer
 

I tried and tried last night to use the brayer to make like a sunset effect. I followed the instructions on the techniques page, and it just came out really choppy, or the lines of color were really defined. i just could not get it right. Any suggestions;)

Are you using glossy cardstock? You get the best effect with that. You also need to brayer more than once to blend the lines. It works best for me to keep going in the same direction. I brayer away from me, pick the brayer up off the table after I run off the edge of the cardstock then start over back at the first edge. I do this multiple times to blend the colors. HTH!
