I make message tiles. Some of them are made to be supported by a decorative easel. Some of them I'm make to hang on the wall. For the ones I hang on the wall I use either E-6000 glue or hot glue to adhere a nice piece of ribbon to the back of the tile. I then cover the whole back of the tile with felt to give it a more finished look.
If you don't want ribbon to show then you could cover the back with a thin piece of wood that has a nail notch cut out of it so that it will hang flush to the wall.
Beaddict: thanks for the tips. I like the ribbon idea.
You have beautiful things in your gallery. I like the idea of your message board from tiles, what sort of your tile you are using? Are they glazed or unglazed tiles? And what is CE sealant? I sppose you can use white board marker to leave message on the board. Oh, it is so clever idea! Do you mind sharring the process of how you make it?
Thanks so much.
Have you tried a plate hanger? You should be able to get them at a hardware store. I personally think that a 15" x 15" would be too heavy to hang on the wall.
I do the same as beaddict, but use a piece of thin fun foam instead of felt (only because I had tons here) After 4 years, they are still hanging strong!
