glitter question
:?: Just wondering if anyone has an idea on how to add glitter to a background page and make it stick without glue??
I don't want tons of glitter, just a slight sparkle to the background.... I just have no idea how to achieve that :? look. Thanks for your suggestions in advance!! Niki :) |
I think people use crystal effects??? I've seen it on cards done that way. Good luck!

Hello Niki :D
Here are two that I made using glitter as the background. I just ran my card stock through the Xyron. Then applied glitter to it and it sticks great! Hope this helps some! http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...cat=500&page=1 http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...cat=500&page=1 |

If you don't have a Xyron machine you could use a can of Opal glitter spray from Ben's or Michaels. I used it on the flower after coloring it and you can kind of and kind of not see it. Ha! It is much lighter than if you used the adhesive spray and added glitter.
Hope this helps Shirley |
Glitter nail polish....
if you use a few layers it gets more glittery - but not to glittery... I use it alot when I just want a slight sparkle |

Jovi, I love the Zyron idea. I had never thought to use it. I have the large one and the little small one. I will have to give it a try, thanks for the suggestion...

If you just want a slight shimmer you may want to use hair spray with pearl ex.
