Future Floor Wax

I was browsing through cards looking for new ideas and saw a couple that said they used the Future Floor wax technique. Could someone please explain what this is and how to do it?

Thanks!!

I saw another techniqe using Future Floor Finish at a stamp show and tried it myself at home. The results were OK, but I think I need to practice a little more. What you do is:

On watercolor paper, apply either watercolor pencils or crayons. Using a cotton ball moistened with FFF, rub across the pencils/crayons until it is blended. Then sprinkle some Perfect Pearls or Pearl Ex, and brush the excess away with a dry brush.

Here's a great tutorial on the Caught in Crystal technique, which uses Future Floor Finish: http://www.rubberstampsclub.com/tips...ebruary02.html

It produces a very pretty stained glass effect. A while back I made this suncatcher using this technique: //www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=30922&nocache=1 My variation was brayering the tissue paper first with with a homemade rainbow pad made with Dye-Na-Flow fabric paint (because it doesn't fade in sunlight), then sandwiching it between acetate layers with matching images. Redliner tape was used to attach the two sides together. The tricky part is lining up the images correctly, because there's no pulling it apart if you blow it! This suncatcher is still hanging in my kitchen window, and the colors are just as vibrant as they were three years ago when I made it.

Hope that helps. :D

Future Floor Wax Idea

I am a member of the Technique Junkie Newsletter...A GREAT publication for those who are interested in trying new things. They had a technique called "Frogs in a Blender" that uses the Future Floor Wax. The Result looks very much like some of the old end paper used in books. Very COOL!
