I want to give greeting cards (not the plastic gift cards) as gifts for Christmas and I know there is a way to fold a holder for these that opens up into 2 pockets, one on each side. I believe it is done with a 12x12 page. I have looked everywhere for these instruction and can only find the ones for the plastic gift card holders. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance!
Attached is a word doc for a card portfolio using 12x12 paper that I got from SCS 4 years ago!!! Credit to prchvs (username on SCS) for posting...
Also attached is another document for a stationery folder with ribbon that is sooooo easy! I didn't mark who posted it so I can't give proper credit, but I did get it from SCS. I think this one uses a regular size sheet of CS (8 1/2 x 11).
HTH!

thats close to what I want stampinboilermaker but the one I saw was all folded and had diagonal pockets on the inside to hold the cards. I just saw it made this weekend at CKC in Charlotte where I was a TA in a class. I like the one you posted though, so thank you!
no but I like that one as well. I ended up playing around with a piece of 12x12 cardstock and figuring it out. But thank you to everyone who posted here and I think I am going to use some of these items instead of the one I was looking for
for such a card holder...use 8 1/2 x 10 1/2" paper. Score at 5 & 5 1/2" on the 10 1/2" side. Score at 6" on the 8 1/2" side. fold all of your score lines. The bottom of your card holder should have 2 1/2 x5" sections. You can fold them down or leave them alone. add adhesive to the middle to hold your project together. I'll see if I can find a pic in my files somewhere. If this isn't what your looking for...I have many different card holders that are great for card giving. You can also find another tutorial that I did here...Stamp, Scrap, Skate: It's Smaller Than a Bread Box It's on a blog I haven't posted to in forever. I'll have to get back to it...I really enjoy doing tutorials. Thanks for letting me share.
