Faux Linen technique
I've seen some really nice cards using the faux linen technique. Can someone tell me where I can find the instructions for this technique? Thank you in advance!

Faux linen
Hi. On the home page there is a challenge for every day of the week. Monday's challenge is Try a new technique. Showmestamper either explains a new technique with examples or posts a link to directions and has us make card using that technique. She has a master list of past techniques. Here is the link for the Faux Linen. If it doesn't work for some reason, go to the home page and look on the right side bar. You'll see the challenges.

Awesome!! I was wondering how to do this too. The samples in the gallery are all so great.

I love the look and am anxious to give this a try!

I have been looking for this as well! TFS!

The directions say to use pigment or chalk ink. Does it not work with dye ink?

I used the classic ink with my brayer, and it worked just fine :) HTH

I tried this last night and no luck. How hard do you have to sand the paper?? I tried classic ink, pigment and chalk ink but was never able to see the "linen" weave. I tried direct to paper and sponging on the ink. I have only a sheet and a half of glossy left!
