Default Embossing on Glass

I was thinking about stamping and embossing some glass holders for a wedding gift. My question is, if you burn a candle in an embossed holder (the glass usually gets warm/hot) does the embossing melt and come off? Thought I should find out before I give them as a gift.

Oh, my. Yes...I would think so! Better to use something like StazOn, I think.

How about using glass etching cream for that? Vickie Maduzia is going to write a tutorial for that technique for the resource section soon.

I did stamp and watercolor with it the other day and you're right. Works great. And the image was nice and crisp. Woo-hoo!

Oh my gosh! Do you mean we could etch with our stamps?! The only way I've done this is to stamp on contact paper and then cut the design out to make stencils. Let me tell you, this is VERY labor intensive. Let me know when this tutorial comes out!!
