Lori, the stickles are really easy and fun to use. I mostly use the ones that are neutral - they show the color underneath whatever you apply them to.

The colors I use most are Stardust, Diamond, and Crystal. I just got those colors in a 3 pack at Michaels and Hobby Lobby for about $5. When you use a coupon, it's a good deal.

I also like the one that is called "Gold", for when I really want a really sparkly "gold" look.

When the Stickles dries, the glitter does not flake off, and there is some dimension where you have applied it.
