Default Crystal Effects Question

I'm using Crystal Effects at my next workshop for adhereing glitter. I'd like to show other uses for it but I don't have much experience with it. Do you have any ideas?

Thanks!

I love to use it to highlight a stamped image...Mix it with pearl ex for a cool highligting effect as well...That is just a few of my faves.

Just keep in mind it take a while to dry...Oh and you can do heated pearls with pearl ex and ce! WAY COOL! The actual directions for heated pearls is in the Resources section.

You can use it for a high glossed, laquer finish.
Mix it with a drop of reinker to get this glossy finish in all 48 colors.
Use it as a strong glue to adhere glass marbles to cardstock.

Cool crystal effects uses

I use my crystal effects over my stamped images - such as: over a fish bowl to get a "water" look, over a stamped and colored purse to make it shiny and give it depth, on an ornament to make it look like glass, over a stamped window to look like glass.....etc. I love this product! There's tons of other uses... but I mainly use it to adhere glitter and to do what I've described. I hope this has helped!

Tracy...we don't have Heated Pearls in the resource section yet! It's planned, but with one tutorial a week it might take a while.

You can also use Crystal Effects to adhere microbeads to the center of a flower -- if you color the center red, apply CE, then the microbeads, the red ink makes the beads look red -- i.e. you can make the plain microbeads look different colors. I have sold a lot of microbeads and CE showing a card with a "red bead center". Hope that helps! Beth

Could you post that list? We newbies have a hard time just figuring out what Crystal Effects is! I am still trying to figure out what is used as glue and what is used to emboss!

Thanks so much! Pamm

I used the CE on the loads of love pickup windows too!
I also used it with dazzling diamonds glitter on acetate: stamp a snow flake on the front side of a piece of acetate or clear plastic using Stazon Blue. on the back put the CE only where the snow flake is and load it up with glitter and let dry. Awesome effect when placed in a window on your card!

I just love this stuff, and use it all the time, but don't have anything new to add! Oh, but it lasts forever, so don't worry about using too much, there's my helpful hint!!
