Default Christmas Ornaments

I've been asked to do a SU party showing a Christmas Ornament. I've tried the glass ball with a piece of laminate inside. I stamped with Staz On then colored the image with Sharpies. To get it stabilized inside I had to punch a tiny whole in the laminate and run a piece of wire to hang on the outside of the glass. I added about 1 1/2 Tablespoon of white glitter to look like show.
After reinserting the hanger I plan to tie a ribbon on top. It's pretty cute, just hope it can be recreated by others.

I'd love to hear of other ornaments you have made and were happy with.

Default Sounds Neat!

This sounds neat! Could you post a picture? I don't know if I've seen these.

When I do the acetate inside I typically leave a little tab at the top to keep it from moving around. But I had a lot of fun making this ballet slipper ornament for my DD. I wanted to have the slippers hanging somewhat loose to allow movement (appropriate for a dancer). So I hung them from the cap with clear beading thread.
