No, I haven't. But that would be a great challenge to see what folks could come up with.

Come on ladies! Let's make something with black shrink plastic!

Good question Kathy.

I just saw something in Creating Keepsakes (Oct. issue I think) where they used the black polyshrink and die cut machine for letters- after shrinking them they used them for a title on a scrapbook page.

I personally have used the black with white craft ink and the crayon kids stamp set to make it look like a chalkboard effect.

Can't wait to hear what everyone else has used it for!

I saw on Carol Duvall the other day that she made a watch band out of the black with stamps but of course she did not demo that one, anyone have any ideas on how she did it? It was the black squares with gold - can you stamp when they are hot or do you always have to stamp before shrinking?
I cut out dragonflies and versa marked and used pear ex on clear and they looked good but I am sure they would be awsome on black - maybe and interference color or two?

If you use a colored craft pad or Brilliance Pad especially with a flat surface stamp, it makes a very dramatic embellishment.

Stamp image, cut it out and shrink it!

I used it with the Trick or Treat spider, cut it out and it is soooo cute! Especially with the stamped image on my card to coordinate!

I am sure it would look awesome with a metalic pad too!

Michelle ~ were you in a magnet swap? I have a magnet that looks just as you described. I love it.

I used the black to make a ruler so you could guage how much a piece would shrink. Haven't found any uses for what's still left.

Default Black Shrink Plastic

I heat my shrink plastic while still hot press in the stamp and then rub with an oplite pad lightly heat set. It's very fun.

I was planning to use my Sizzix to cut out bats, shrink then, & attach tiny "googly" eyes for a Halloween embelleshment.

That's a great idea. I just bought cookie cutters and one was a bat. I may just trace around them or dip them in white craft ink and cut them out. They would make cute candle decorations. Thanks for the idea.
