Would it be possible to make some sort of "pocket" on the outside of the frame to insert additional Post It Notes so that it could be used over and over?
When I make post-it note holders I usually cut and decorate my piece of cardstock for the inside and simply stick the post-it's on the outside. When they run out of post-its they simply stick a new set to the front of the frame, so I don't think you have to build a holder?
I also stick the post-it notes on the front of the acrylic and insert the cardstock inside. The can just attach a new pack of post-its to the front when the first runs out.
They are just the cheap "L" shaped frames you can get at W-M, Target, the $1 store. You slide the picture into them and the stand on the bent part...can't really describe them very well! For the post-it note holder you turn them so the frame is parallel with the table and the stand is holding it off the table at the end to make it slant....
Hmmm..I think I get it. Is it kinda of like a kids slide, where the base (the stand) is like the ladder (vertical), and the frame, where the cs or picture goes, is the actual slide part (slanted)? I don't know, :? maybe I don't get it, because I've seen some in the gallery, and it doesn't look like they are on a slant.
That's it! They do slant so the post-it pad is angled, but when you take a picture straight on they look flat! I tried to take a picture of mine and they all come out looking like the flat acrylic fridge frames!!

Ps-I made some for my dd teacher's last year and they loved them!
The thing that is good about the raised ones is that you can write a quick note on them without holding it and it sticks up off the desk so it doesn't get lost in the mess ...like it definitely would on my desk! Also, you can put a mini calendar inside the frame to the side of the post-its and you can just glance at it to see the date. Haven't tried the flat ones yet - it might be good for someone who has a metal file cabinet in their office to magnet it to! (Definitely wouldn't lose it on my desk that way!)
