Today we are going to take out our acrylic paint, baby wipes and stencils, a fun technique I've learned from Ann (annsforte3) during a DTGD challenge 2019
I call it: LIFT THE PAINT
Here are Ann's directions:
My challenge uses acrylic paint, a brayer, stencils, and some baby wipes!!
First select a heavy form of cardstock and apply drops of several different colors onto the paper, using your brayer or something similar, roll the colors across your cardstock.
Immediately place your stencil over the paint, then using a babywipe gently swipe the baby wipe across the stencil, removing some of the paint. Reminder do not press down too hard as to tear your cardstock.
Let the cardstock dry and use your creation as a background for your card or die cut a shape to use on your card!
I've made several and love to use this technique
I've made a PDF with pictures if you want to see how to proceed

If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
