Hello my dear Technique Lovers, The last Monday of this year 2020 I know lots of us are waiting for a new and better year, I wanted to add a bit of sparkling to our challenge and it's a really easy one, everyone can play, all you need is tape and die cuts.
You can find my samples in the thumbnails, I've used word die cuts but also other dies it makes your cards really shine, just have fun and I hope to see your pretty cards in the gallery, don't forget to add them to the Faux Heat Embossing gallery by chosing technique spotlight and faux heat embossing when you upload your cards.
I've tried it also using a stamp, water colored the image and covered with large tape, then cut it out and used it on a shadow box card
Here's a little home made video (not a very good quality) to show you my card:
Remember to use the keyword TLC827 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Great idea with the horses, Anita - they look wonderful.
Because you were very organised with this challenge, mine has long gone in the mail, but here it is:
I love this technique! I use it almost every time I die cut a word, but I haven't thought of using it for a die cut image. So fun! Thanks for the video! Sometimes a picture or video really is worth a 1000 words!
