TLC180 - Square Spring Card
TLC180 - Square Spring Card
Today’s challenge is to make a Square Spring Card. It is easier to show you this really neat fancy fold than try to explain it, so check out these examples by shulsart/Sandy:
Tropical Isle
Hummingbird
(note: I have tried to make these links a pretty red like the rest of the links in this thread, but the formatting is NOT cooperating with me at the moment. *sorry* )
You can find the tutorial in both Word and .pdf formats in this thread by shulsart/Sandy. Great tutorial!! Thanks for sharing it with us here at SCS.
Square Spring Card Tutorial
Please use keyword TLC180 when you upload.
TLC180 Gallery
I have some big news to share…..
It is time for me to hang up my TLC hostess hat. I have learned so many new things seeking out ideas for the TLC! I am always tickled pink when I hear that you tried something new and had fun doing it too. Thanks so much for sharing your tremendous talent with me each week as you played along with my challenge.
Starting new week, the Technique Lover’s Challenge new hostess will be Lynn (Lynn in St. Louis). Lynn is an amazingly talented stamper! Check out her gallery!! I am thrilled that she agreed to host the TLC for me. I know you will enjoy the upcoming TLCs!
Again, I want to THANK YOU for playing along with the TLC. It has been an enormous pleasure.

You'll certainly be missed, Beth. When I first came to SCS, one of the first threads I opened was yours. You were so kind and helpful...not to mention, so pretty! You have been a wonderful hostess, and because of you, I have tried many new things and had a blast doing it! I wish you all the best!

This is such a fun type of card to make, Beth. Here is one that I did a little while back.
It's the type of card that looks like it's complicated, but it's oh-so-easy.

Thank you, Beth!
Beth, many thanks for the challenges you have come up with during your time as Host. I look at them every week and have printed out many of the tutorials even when I didn't have time to make them. They are all wonderful and have given me inspiration to try the techniques.
I'll be looking forward to seeing more of your creations in the galleries!

Beth-- we will miss you as the host for this very fun challenge! You have chosen really wonderful works that have challenged me-- I know that I wouldn't have tried quite a few of them without the little nudge from this thread! Thanks again, and best wishes!

Beth, thank you for giving your time and talents to all of us with your encouraging words and new ideas every Monday. I can only imagine the stress of getting this post ready and completed for the first thing Monday mornings. You will be missed but we will certainly give Lynn an SCS welcome. Love today's technique and will get to this later after work.

Right, I am back already with my card. I've had a very productive day today but they were all for posting tomorrow - so it's nice to have one just to put into my card box.

These cards are so much fun. I did some over the 4th of July. I'll have to do another. Thanks for the challenge.

Beth, thanks so much for your commitment to TLC! I've really enjoyed learning everything you've shared!
For some reason SCS won't let me access the tutorial...? Is there anywhere else I can find this tutorial? I know I've seen it on blogs, but our hard drive crashed, so I wouldn't even remember what blog or how to find the blog! LOL
Thanks!

I really enjoyed making this card. Thanks for doing this technique today.
I don't know why but when I upload now I don't have the option to add the stamps and ink and other info like I had before. Did something change with the process while I was away for a couple weeks?
