August already - good grief, where has the year gone! Hard to believe it's a new month already.
I thought that this week we would turn to Dina's
Burst Through tutorial from 2015.
As it was a September tutorial, Dina's sample and indeed the majority of the cards in the gallery have a Halloween theme. But I had been thinking about the technique and how it would work well for other ideas too - so it tickled me to see that even while I was pondering it, Dina uploaded a card with a car bursting through for her recent Color Wheel tutorial.
Use your imagination and see what you can find to burst through!
I have a dog dashing through snow, and a frog diving into a pond.
Because I had never done this before, I did in fact do steps 1 thru' 6 on some plain copy paper first just to make sure how things would work. But my image was a dog with a long tail - with a less elongated shape I think I would have been happy to just wing it with the DP first off.

1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.

4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
