Hello dear Technique Lovers, ready for a new challenge?
I've hosted a challenge during the DTGD in 2018, I thought it would be fun to feature this fold today, I've made a PDF which you can find in the thumbnails.
I've added pictures from my cards made with this fold.
Please don't be scared to try this fun fold, once you've made 1 I'm sure you'll make more, the link here below will bring you to the DTGD challenge but only for fanclub members, if you aren't a fanclub member you cannot see that thread. DTGD18snietje Chat Thread by snietje at Splitcoaststampers
Remember to use the keyword TLC853 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Its so great to see once again your beautiful design for this challenge !
I loved it very much and made several cards with it over the last few years
Here is my card for today's challenge: TLC853 Nature in December by niki1 at Splitcoaststampers
I can download the pdf but I can't open it. I have a pdf reader on this tablet and can read other pdfs. Im not sure why I can't open this one. I live the design of all of your cards.
step1: You score your base at 2 3/4" (7cm )
and 5 1/2" (14 cm)
on the square side you can glue your dsp now
as you can see I turned my base with the square
side to the left
Step 2:On the scoring lines you measure and
put a mark at 1 1/2" and 4"
you can draw a mark to the next scoring line too to
cut straight, you measure 1 1/2" and you cut in
those lines on your card folded so you'll cut into the
square side also.
This should look like this
Step 3: turn it back with the square side to the right
Now we're going to use the squares, the big one is
cut diagonally and will be glued onto the pop-up
the smaller squares will be turned at 45° as in the
following picture
Step 4:
now you can embellish just as you want to

I remember that challenge and the card I made--it got rave reviews and it's really not that hard. However, I'm dreading having to downsize it to an ATC...that too is probably not as hard as it sounds. Here goes...
Thank you Ann, I was out of town for a medical appointment, I'm sorry some people can't open the PDF, I don't know why, if you've got problems send me your email in a PM and I'll send the PDF by email
I saw already fun cards in the gallery with beautiful papers!!
I cant get it either. It keeps telling me I do not have permission to access the page
I think you tried to get to the link and that doesn't work if you aren't a fanclub member, the PDF is in the thumbnails, if you can't get it send me your email and I'll send you the PDF
