Hello Technique Lovers!
Today we are going to be "painters", and try our hand at Gel Plate Impressionism!
Lydia has a fantastic tutorial for us, and there are several samples in the Gallery set aside just for this technique to inspire you! If you don't have a gel plate, you can substitute an acrylic block, or another variation to get a similar result.
Fun technique. My gel plate is probably first generation....large and thick....so a Misti was out of the question. Quite different results, but ones that I liked nevertheless. Thanks.
Fun challenge Judy. I've never done this before. Here's my card.

LOVE this technique!!! I'm always "heavy handed" when I craft--and the "Smile" card was the first one I was able to get a decent print from. It's getting a little better now. I keep saying to myself--just use a LITTLE paint! I'm certainly buying a lot more magazines now Here are my cards! I used Lydia's tutorial to make my card and posted to her tutorial gallery. I am sharing again for the TLC698 Gel Plate Impressionism Challenge. I loved the results. I used a very small gel plate that a friend gave me several years ago. Enjoy...Nancy
Here is my Gel plate Impressionism attempt. I posted 3 images as I added a 1 hinge to my card as a closure. Thanks for a fun and challenging morning. Peaceful Impressions
