TLC367 ~ One Color/No Color ~ (3/5/12)
Hello Technique Lovers! Today's challenge is super simple and quick so everyone can play along!
When I first started stamping, I did a lot of open images with one color of ink, and no coloring in the image. As time went by, I felt obligated (and I wanted to learn!) to color in everything, either with pencils or chalks, then water based markers, then alcohol markers, or sponging or painting with distress inks....
There is something to be said for a lovely open line image and one color of ink. So that is your challenge today.
CHALLENGE: Use only ONE color of ink on your card, including the ink for any sentiment you might choose, WITHOUT coloring in your image. Try to use an open line image, rather than a bold one.
This doesn't mean your card has to be monochromatic!
My sample uses black ink because it fit my image, but you can use any color of choice. If you really need a second hue, stamp again before reinking.
Simple, huh?
MY SAMPLE - PANDA HUGS
Remember when uploading to use keyword TLC367 (no spaces).
You can view the entire TLC367 gallery here.
Have fun!

I should have jazzed this up with some pretty DSP. I would say, this is the most dull card you'll ever see ~ LOL.

TLC367 Coffee speaks, I listen!
Judy- thanks for the great challenge! I just got a "new to me" set, Coffeetime from Rubbernecker, and I love it. I added lots of happy papers, and a button, and a brad/ribbon combo. Here's Coffee speaks, I listen!

TLC367 Sleepy Cat
I was inspired to make this when I remembered my sweet dog slumbering in the sunshine while the birds hopped around! I used an old foam stamp set from All Night Media for my image. Have a happy day! Here's Sleepy Cat

TLC367 Can I have a burger, please?
I love this stamp, Bella's Fella. It so reminds me of my son, the BBQ king. I put a cat asking politely for a burger for fun.
Here's Can I have a burger, please?

This was a good challenge for me, as I rarely use a line-art image without coloring it. It was a perfect technique for the images I used in this:
Tool Time Thanks
