Ya know, Holly, it's real hard trying to please everyone, and just downright impossible, too. If people don't want to play--let them. You're doing a great job and I for one appreciate you. Had fun with this one today--big thanks! Love these Stamps! by naturecoastcrafter at Splitcoaststampers

I like this challenge, it really makes me think when I do one layers and that helps old minds stay alert! ;)
GREAT JOB as hostess Holly, you keep bringing us fun projects to try and even if I don't play along I enjoy viewing what others do with your ideas. Keep up the good work!
Oops! I first uploaded this for the CAS71 Challenge...Then it hit me its more geared towards this one....(unless you count when people grab hold of chandeliers at parties and fly around the room...not that I have been to any parties like that but I have seen it in the movies...LOL) so here mine for the OLC today!
Making my card on colored CS instead of white helped me over the most difficult part of making a one-layer card. The OLW gallery is full of great ideas that I'll be coming back to when I need a quick & easy card.
thanks for the awesome challenge Holly! I always look forward to seeing what your challenges are, just lately havent had the time to play! But this one I did!

I want to say, you are doing a fabulous job! I feel technique challenged...lol and honestly quit looking at this post because of that. If I can do it and have the time I am all over it. It is wonderful to me just to have a challenge, thank you so much for your hard work and the work of everyone here at SCS.....I for one know that it is hard work and time consuming; for that I thank you!!!
enjoy *~*

Keep up the great work Holly! I'm loving the challenges. I am late posting these, as I made them yesterday, but here they are. One layer boo boo
and One layer butterfly

This was hard for me. I'm so used to at least ONE other layer... of *some* kind. ;) But, I like what I came up with anyway. Here's my contribution: Nurture Today

I can understand how difficult it must be to try to please everyone. I think just by the title people such as myself are expecting techniques that may be new to them instead of challenges . Maybe we can subdivide and have 2 categories here. I hope lots of people will send you ideas and instructions for techniques as I often use these ideas for my stamp clubs. Perhaps you can raid the Splitcoast files of patterns. I know I have posted things there but with all the rearranging over the years many people contact me directly for patterns as they can not locate the link. Thanks for all your hard work.
I usually don't take time to do challenges. But, one of my kids is at camp so I have a little extra time! Thanks for an easy challenge! Here's a link to my card:
A great technique challenge- more difficult than you would think to keep it to one layer. Here's my try- first time doing a one layer card in years! Thanks for looking!
