TLC214 Never Ending.. I guess !!! P. 1 by GardenDiva at Splitcoaststampers
Here's the first page. The others are in the main gallery. I'm absolutely exhausted !!
This is the 4th one of these I've made today. I did one just like Dawn's so I could get the placement right,,,then tried one with DP and it ripped,,,,then did a draft of the one I finally made to see if the placement of the stamps worked....then did this card and colored it. What a job. I made this wayyyyyy harder then it needed to be. I shouldn't have colored each page !!! Then I had to try 3 times to get this loaded.
Wow...............talk about making my feeble mind work today.........BUT I made it...
and that's what counts !!!
Thanks Lynn for that challenge and a great big thanks to Dawn for the Awesome video.

Boy, these take a while to stamp! Anyway, my card worked out great except for 1 fold where the images and words don't match up to be right side up. Oh well, it's still really fun.

Thanks Lynn for the challenge. I had heard about them from Sabrina (Cook22) but they sounded too hard for me. Thanks to Dawn for making such a great video tutorial. Her video's are awesome. When I was making my first waterfall card, if it hadn't been for Dawn's video, I would have given up.
I wasn't sure about using dp on my card, because I was afraid of how it would fold. I ended up coloring mine which added a lot of time to the card.

This is such a neat card, and yes I can imagine kids loveing this one. Like someone else said it's like a transformor card, too cool. I thought at first I will never get this but when I watched the video a couple times I got it down and it was super easy. Thanks for hosting I had fun with this one. I will try to make another one tonight need to stock up on b-day cards, got a bunch coming up this summer.
Okay, I haven't tried a technique challenge for along time and I have figured out the folds, now I have to figure out what to stamp on this card so that it looks okay when I am done. Sooooo, I am off to my stamp shelf to see what I can come up with, hopefully I will be successful and will be able to post something soon!!!

Ok Lynn, I've got to tell you that this is the absolute most fun I've had with a challenge in a long time. I've made one and now working on a second. I cannot take pictures of it, but let it suffice that I had an absolute blast with this one. Thank you so much for the challenge as well as the video. FUN!
awww...I can't tell you how happy that makes me! Having fun is what it's all about!

[QUOTE=KY Southern Belle;13587830]No, this didn't help me either. It's the folding that I'm having trouble with...
I often do a trial run of this sort of card with used printer paper, or some other sort of scratch paper, so if I mess up, it is not so painful on the supplies... I am looking forward to trying this :-)
Well... this was easy to do but I had to leave this morning before I could photograph it... so now I'm holding it on the back of the sunroom couch to try to catch some light. Thanks for taking a peek. Have four different photos.. don't know how to get all four into one. Thanks for looking!

I really *hope* you guys will check out mine, most of the ones I've viewed are good, but you're missing out by not adding layers or 'themed' images a little bit more. My only advise here is to plan ahead. It akes all of the difference You guys keep up the good work!
I want to play......hope to when I get kids to bed! Thanks Lynn!

My little craft room pc doesn't have it....I have printshop. I'll check the ..good..PC ...in my husband's den to see if it has it.
Thanks
Lynn,,,,just to let you know....Printshop works as well for importing the photos into one shot. As long as it's saved as a JPEG file it works just fine.
Thanks for all the help today............this has been a very busy day !!! HA HA

This one turned into a two page spread in Just Cards Magazine last April. I received 3 copies of the magazine and a nice check!
Hugs!
Loretta -
A belated THANKS! - I got this magazine and first made this card for my DIL's 1st mother's day.. the card was a hit.
And, I loved all the extra layers and stuff I added - it made the card even better.
Your welcome. If any of you guys have any problems with it, let me know. I've probally made 50 or more of these cards. Once you do it the first time with the layers, its' easy. I have it so down pat, I don't have to look at the measurements, just start cutting!
It is a great project to complete. Thanks for the compliments. My DH was kind enough to take my crude instructions and help to write them so they 'sang'
