THANKS FOR LOOKING! I was SO EXCITED to finally use my baroque motif stamp set I just got in the mail this weekend. We had the in-laws over and got tons of cleaning done but I didn't do much stamping. So I found a way to use this set with the magic card challenge. This was fun, but I definitely don't want to make a ton of these...time consuming! (especially without a stamp-a-majig and window sheets) But I think it still turned out alright.
Holy Shnikies! This was a lot harder than I thought it would be! This will go down in history as the longest card I have ever worked on, talk about a challenge! Lol! I hope you like it!

Do you have any legos? I saw a faux stampamajig made once from Legos...basically you just need a T shape.
You could also make one with some layers of cardboard.
Or try the other idea posted by cathymac!
Both clever ideas, Thankyou Beth and Cathy! I,ve not seen a s stampamajig other than in the catty so i wasn't sure what it looked like!! Now I think I get it!! Off to go play with my kids lego for a while!!!!
Thanks for the challenge Beth. I've never done one of these so maybe today is the day! Glad to be back stampin' the challenges!

Oh, I made one and it was really ugly. My daughter caused me to get marker on the front of it, and then I had to improvise and try to turn the random line into doodles. It didn't turn out too hot.
Beth...This Ill call a challenge for me!!! I read the instruction for 1-2 hours...then 2 hours to make it!! After that 1 hour to put them together in one picture.. Im totally tired out ;)
I went to look at the tuturol and there are not any pictures. Is this just for demos?

Okay, I read the instructions a number of times, but still got confused back on steps 3,4,5. At least, that's where I think my error happened. I have a score line that shows up on the oval overlay and I ended up having to trim the bottom. I did complete the challenge and enjoyed working on it. However, I'm still new to SCS and haven't posted a picture yet, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to share it. I'll see what I can do.
I'm having fun checking out what the rest of you made with the challenge.
Finally got around to getting it finished. Boy, are kids demanding..clothes, food, books, hugs and kisses. ;) Fun Techniques, thanks for the challenge!
Whew! This was not easy the first time around. I think it will get easier with practice, so thanks for making me want to practice! Fun challenge...here's my card.
After posting mine and going back to look at some of the others, I noticed a few people had trouble with the instructions. When I printed them out, something happened so that some of the steps didn't print in their entirety. I tried a second time and the same thing happened. I had to go back to the tutorial and write out the missing instructions so it made sense. Hope that helps!

Reason: Wrong link for the second picture
This was really challenging. I may not have got the measurement exactly right since it doesn't want to slide smoothly. It needs some ribbon or something too, but since I don't think I will give this away (because it doesn't slide right) I don't think I will go any further finishing it.
Man, this was really hard and is not something that I'm likely to try again. Oh, and since I'd been chicken to try this technique, I thought the image appropriate. Here's mine:
I'm taking a room at the loony bin next to Shelly. Whew! It took several tries, but I finally finished it. Not sure if I'll try it again, but I have always been a glutton for punishment!

I had printed out the instructions some time ago, and the same thing happened to me. In fact, some of the photos overlapped. I reprinted them today, and it seemed to print okay. Not sure why there was a difference -- except that the instructions that were printed today seemed to be a smaller typeface.
