Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun! This week's challenge hostess is: peeps321/Polly CHALLENGE:
Our recipients this week have been isolated in their bedrooms for days due to Covid19. Kids can be pretty imaginative but after awhile they had to be really bored. For this challenge add a fun element to your card. It can be as simple as a wobble or a card with a moving part, a die cut or punch art animal, jokes, flaps that open, a scavenger hunt….well you get the idea.
It’s our first teaparty of the new year - welcome back! This week’s request was made by SCS card crazy/Denise for her great niece and nephews. Jillian (10) and Jackson (8 ) both tested positive for Covid19 just before Christmas and were subsequently isolated to their bedrooms during the holidays. Carter (13) did not test positive but we didn’t want to leave him out. Jillian and Jackson should be feeling better and will be over quarantine by the time of this tea party but it’ll still be fun for them to receive cards. You’re not required to make/send three separate cards but if you’d like to
personalize them, Jillian loves crafts and fancy jewelry; the boys love baseball and basketball; and all three kids love the beach, soccer and camping.

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail[email protected].Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
Thank you so much for making cards for my niece and nephews. Jillian and Jackson are recently out of quarantine and will be tested again. It's been an emotional time for them but they are troopers. When Jillian first learned she would be isolated for 10 days, she cleaned her room and made a menu of everything she wanted to eat and posted it on the outside of her bedroom door. They know that cards will be sent to them and they are SO excited. I appreciate you all! Happy New Year.
WOW -I love your cards Anita. I will make 3 separate cards, but first need to check out the videos on the different techniques. This is a fantastic group and I am proud to be able to participate in sending cards (joining in February 2019) .. thanks so much
One done after I got home from work - will have to let my eyes rest a bit before starting on the next one. Hopefully will get some inspiration for a boy card next.
Posted a menu?!!!! That is hilarious. I'd love to post my card here but I can't see how to do it. I use 'go advanced', I don't see the toggle or the globe. So I hope it's in the gallery.
I got sidetracked with the happenings of the past few days but finally completed another card for our Covid Kids. I'll get them all into the mail this weekend!
What boy doesn't like a dinosaur-theme, plus a surprise Pop-Up feature as well! As I'm late to the party, my card will be used for a much needed girlie birthday card; which is the reason it is a girl dinosaur theme instead of a boy with a more rugged look! But imagine a change of colors...it could become a boy card!
