Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun! This week's challenge hostess is: Jennifrann/Jen
CHALLENGE: My challenge this week is a photo inspiration challenge. Take inspiration from this or our teapot/cookies:
CARD TYPE/THEME: Cheerful, Thinking of You, Sunshine, Hello, Religious/Spiritual cards are welcome.
This week we're heading to Alabama at the request of Nancy, aka nwilliams6, to bring some warm fuzzies to her friend and co-worker, Mia. Nancy wrote, "Mia is a beautiful girl. She works with me and loves bright colors, SHOES, make up, SHOES, clothes, SHOES, and SHOES. Some of her shoes are so high that we pray she doesn't fall! She loves Bible scripture, dressing up, gourmet food, and getting and sending cards. She reads law books for fun and still plans to go to law school with a big dream of being a judge one day." Nancy also included, "Mia is young (in her 30s), but has had a lot of health issues. She recently got out of the hospital with one - we were very worried about her as it was serious. She lost a brother about a month and a half ago (very unexpectedly), and her father was murdered a couple of years ago. She was a big daddy's girl. Mia has had a very hard time the last few years and could use some paper hugs." A few months ago, Mia and Nancy talked about making cards and sending them out to their work team. They felt that cards would really help the team since they're all separated and working from home. Mia was going to spearhead the project, but then started having health issues. Nancy thought it would be fun to have cards sent to Mia.

Jen, this was loads of fun coming up with a card featuring those high heel shoes that Mia loves .... Mia has a very good friend in You!! Here's my card for her:
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
I love this idea. I will try to make a card this weekend and get it out to Mia.
I've looked at every card posted by all and they are all different but great. Rather than post on each individually, I just want to congratulate each of you on your beautiful cards.
