Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more the merrier! You automatically become a "TEApotter" the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something about the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: casep/Pat
CHALLENGE:
I think we all have "stuff" that we haven't used in awhile. Good stuff! Now is the time to pull some of that good stuff out and use it on your card. It might be eyelets, brads, ribbons, or just an old stamp set that you haven't pulled out for awhile. Dig deep and find some good stuff in your stash to use on today's card.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Encouragement, Thinking of You, Sunshine
We're heading to Arkansas this week. SCS Calabash Kish (Kathleen) has requested a teaparty for her friend, Beth, who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Beth was shocked to get this unexpected news and has been processing all of this new information. She is beginning chemo treatments this month and can sure use some extra love and support. Beth's favorite color is blue and she loves to paint. She also has a Golden Retriever, named Buddy, that loves to play and go for long walks on the beach.

Here's mine - 1 old tool, as I still had the crimper on my desk from last week's CHEER, 1 old tutorial and 1 old stamp as well as a couple of not so old ones. MMTPT630 Florals with Butterflies
I used three items on mine that were from the depths of my art studio....Tombow markers, flower brads, and a sentiment die cut. Thanks for the chance to use them Pat!
terrific challenge Pat. I have been digging deep all year trying to use up a tote of items that have collected dust in my craft room for many years. Here is a card with a teapot and teacup from that tote:
Mary I love those fall colors, the fall colors are my favorite!
Pat this card will go to Beth. I am sorry to hear of so many and now another one, going thru chemo and cancer.

Here is a message I received from Beth...she is so excited to have already received some cards.
I want to thank you for putting my name on the list for the cards. I have received 7 beautiful cards from all over the country. It is very uplifting as they write notes in each one. I am saving them and am planning on writing short thank you notes to each one. Again thank you. I am very blessed to have friends like you. - Beth
I let her know her message was posted here and it was not necessary for her to send individual notes; however, she may still send them.
Jacqueline, Kathleen, and all the wonderful people who sent me the beautiful cards: Splitcoast Stampers group.
I want to express my gratitude to all the lovely ladies of the Split-Coast stampers group who have sent me exquisite hand-made cards over this past month. I have receive 21 cards so far from all over the USA, Ireland and Australia. Every card is made with love and beautiful craftmanship and all included a note of encouragement to me as I go through my cancer treatments. They have mean't so much to me in my recovery. Thanks to all who remembered me, who mentioned my golden retriever Buddy and have sent up prayers and good vibes. I am doing well with my treatments and I hope to make a full recovery. I have 5 granddaughters and a lovely family and want to spend a few more years with them.
I will treasure the cards for years to come and will read them again and again to remind me of the gracious ladies all over the world who took time to remember me.
Playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking, here is a card that I used some old paper strips in my stash and rhinestones that probably must have mold on them. I broke open my new/ never-used "Snowflake Spendor" ribbon, which I colored blue with my Copics:
