Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: Shoe Girl/Lisa
CHALLENGE:
In the summer time we get so many amazing flowers in every color. I especially love those little lilacs or hydrangeas. Our guest of honor this week loves Pink and Purple. The challenge, use pink and/or purple flowers on your cards.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Hello, Thinking of You, Sunshine, Encouragement, Spiritual/religious cards are welcome
This week’s teaparty request was submitted by SCS mcschmidty (Shelly) for her dear friend, Sandy. Sandy is a five year breast cancer survivor but now has bone cancer. She also recently had to have hip surgery and is recovering. Shelly says Sandy is the sweetest person she’s ever met. Sandy loves flowers of all kinds and especially loves pink and purple. Let’s send Sandy some encouragement and well wishes to help her during her healing process.

Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
A magnolia from me, I really missed seeing them this year. I did colour the fussy-cut extra flowers in the background pink, but the DP was glossy so it's a soft effect and didn't really show up in the photo.

By the time I got home from work today both my mojo and my energy had totally disappeared so this week I will just send a card from my stash . . . Plenty of florals to choose from there . . .

You'd think since I knew the date of this challenge that I could be prepared.....running late but thrilled Sandy will be showered with cards and I thank everyone that is joining in. She will be so appreciative!!!
Pinks and Purples card for Sandy
I am working toward my "Challenge Catch-Up" goal as usual!
The challenge wanted pink and/or purple flowers. My card uses both bright pink and violet-blue purple flowers in a pretty floral bouquet...just what the teapot party recipient likes.
