Team DOGS or Team CATS?

Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a "TEApotter" the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!

CHALLENGE:
Are you Team Dogs or Team Cats? This week's recipient, Chrissy, loves both dogs and cats. She even works st the local animal shelter. You can show some love and support for Chrissy by making a car indicating whether you're Team Dogs or Team Cats. Your card doesn't necessarily have to include a dog or cat but it must include things that begin with each letter. For example, if you're Team Dogs, your card will include something that begins with each letter D-O-G-S (ie. Diecut, Oval, Green, Sentiment) or C-A-T-S (ie. Copic, Altenew stamp, Turquoise, Shaker Card). Get creative!

Our request this week comes from a member of SCS Dirty Dozen. Current Dirty Girl, miamikel4 (Kelly) requested this week's teaparty in honor of her daughter, Christina. Kelly wrote, "My daughter, Chrissy, is one of the kindest souls on the planet and exudes kindness from the core of her being. She's been sick for weeks; doctors were unable to pinpoint what was wrong. Even though she was losing weight, unable to eat, in pain, she still managed to help other families at our church, keep working with the animal shelter and stay on her job without pay to make sure each family was connected and reassured. She eventually was hospitalized in the midst of COVID19 with a severe kidney infection. It was finally caught, diagnosed and treated and Chrissy is now on the road to recovery! She was discharged and is on bed rest to heal and recover". On top of everything that Chrissy has already been through, she was also recently laid off until September. You know how the saying goes...when it rains, it pours. However, when it rains here, the teapotters pour on the love. And, that's just what we're going to do for Chrissy.

This is my 2nd card as I goofed up on the brads. ughhh sorry for the corners being a little strange. I think I see why I rarely use brads. lol COlor me brad challenged.

I really wanted Chrissy to know how much her work means to the animals she helps. If the dogs and cats could tell her I think they would thank her sooo much!!! Praying for a speedy recovery.

Great challenge Jacqueline! I love both dogs & cats, but we only have 2 dogs. Both my sons are allergic to cats, so even though they are grown up, they would have asthma attacks when I had cats and they visited. :( Here's my card for Christina:
