WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY CHALLENGE MMTPT537 "Paper Hugs"
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a TEApotter the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot or from the challenge theme itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!! DESTINATION STATION: Sadly, fellow SCSer and our Artist in Residence, dini (Dina) lost her dad recently. Let's show Dina and her mom, Faith, some Splitcoast love and flood them with paper hugs. Faith loves butterflies and hummingbirds, blues and purples. Dina, I'm assuming, loves all things crafty and would be tickled to receive some cards herself.
CHALLENGE: I would like to challenge you to use one of Dina's (dini) tutorials to send her and/or her mom some paper hugs.
There are many tutorials Dina made for us but I've selected some for you.
We're coming up towards the end of the year - and we need guest hostesses for the Tickle A Teapotter challenges in 2019 - if you would like to be a guest hostess in 2019, check out THIS THREAD, and pick your date!!
Be sure to use KEYWORD MMTPT537 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Post your request HERE or send a PM to jacqueline.

I have a sympathy card I made a couple of weeks ago using Dina's ghost stamping tutorial, which I uploaded when I made it, and found time to make another one last night for the challenge, using her sanded pencil background tutorial, which is one I love and often go back to.
Stopping in to pick up my party bus pass for our loving Sistah and Ohana. I’ve sent Sis Dina hers earlier on as well So it’s a pleasure to send Mom one too. Will be back to post it when done!! In the mean time Sending lots OXOXO’s to both!!
This is the card I made for Dina's mother, trying her Die Cut Masking tutorial. I plan to make and send one to Dina, also. Hugs and prayers to both of you.
Thank you Anita for the challenge. I tried the double masking...will have to try again...not too bad. this is "For Faith"

Oh you guys.... this is so special - thank you so very much! I'm trying not to peek.... Mom has been struggling this week so I know she will appreciate the kind thoughts and pretty cards so much.
I didn't play in the challenge but have mailed out a couple of cards this morning for Dina and her mother. I hope they will give some comfort to Dina and her mother during this very difficult time.

I'm playing my Challenge Catch-up cardmaking. The challenge says to make a card that conveys a paper hug for one who lost a loved one. I needed a sympathy card for my son, which works for the challenge requirements, as well as the color purple, which the original teapotter liked as well.
