Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: Shoe Girl / Lisa
CHALLENGE: Our destination recipient this week is a young girl that really could use some smiles. Let's use colors we think are happy.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of you, hugs, encouragement, hello
This week's Tea Party was requested by Mindy Streeter Thompson for Lillee who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. Lillie has a journey ahead of her and currently is resting at John's Hopkins and could really use some happy mail. She just turned 11 on July 1st so feel free to send belated birthday cards if you so desire.

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to Jennifrann via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
I had to pull a card from my stash - SIL in ICU with serious injuries and really don't have time to play in my craft room. But, I thought Lillee would like this card..
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
This is my first time sending a card to someone from the Tea Party challenge. How do you sign your cards so the recipient knows who it is from? Do you just sign your name?
I sign my first name and usually city and state. If a Teaparty is for one of our Splitcoast "family"....the relative of one of our members I might also include something like "I'm a stamping friend of _____" so they have an idea of why they're getting cards. I don't know the person who requested this week's party so I wouldn't include that.
Glad you could join us this week Melissa!
Thanks Polly. I signed my first name in the card.
I'm hoping to join more often. I did a deep clean of my craft room which will allow me to create more often. I really like the opportunity to send cards to someone, so this challenge is perfect.
