The Alpha Challenge members requested a Teparty for our friend Kandie-Kemernow. Her dear husband Ed passed away in May. Ed was a retired fireman.

Many of you probably know Kandie’s style….she loves Vintage, Mixed Media, Junk Journaling. She and Ed loved antiquing. Kandie also likes to incorporate lace, lots of vintage ephemera, florals, butterflies, birds, soft colors of pinks, purples and yellows into her creations.

Here is my card for Kandie. Honestly, the word I kept in mind was vintage, but the roses are from a set called Kindness, so hopefully, that counts.

Every day I have been receiving the most lovely cards with such wonderfully comforting words inside. I have them all sitting on my table. I can’t thank you enough for all your support. I thought my husband had pneumonia. On a Thursday I took him to the hospital. On Friday we were told he had cancer. The following Monday the oncologist gave him three months or less. Ed died three days later. It was a massive shock, so unexpected. Your cards have given me so much support, I read them over and over. Thank you, and bless you all.
