It's the last Tuesday of the month so that means it's time for our Teapot Tuesday Tickle Challenge
This week's challenge is brought to you by guest hostess: hotwheels/Linda
(with behind-the-scenes assist from Sonja, who helped with the write-up)
CHALLENGE:Linda Littlepage (SCS - hotwheels) is our hostess for the April Teapotter exchange.
The Tuesday Teapotter challenge is Linda’s favorite challenge on SCS. Linda’s lifetime crafting partner, her mother, Sheron Littlepage, was an avid collector of teapots. They both loved sending cards to people in need so this challenge was the perfect match. Mrs. Littlepage gathered over 50 teapots during her lifetime. She shopped at garage sales, thrift stores, antique malls, tea rooms, and anywhere she spotted a teapot she was happy to add it to her collection. She served tea at home on a daily basis. Her favorites were Southern sweet tea and Snapple Peach tea. Linda and her mother would share a cup of tea when they went shopping on Saturdays and after church on Sundays. Sometimes they visited a local tea room for special occasions like baby showers, birthdays, and outings with her sisters.
Sheron lost her battle with breast cancer in 05/04/2019. She was 69. Linda misses her mother terribly but her home is decorated with the beautiful teapots her mother collected. Linda cherishes her memories and every week the Teapotter challenge gives Linda another opportunity to make a card with her mother in her heart. Linda has shared 2 photos taken in her home of a few of the teapots her mother owned. You can see more teapots in the cabinet in the background of the living room. She has also shared three of her mom's teapots for you to be inspired by.
CHALLENGE: Linda challenges you to put a teapot or teacup on your card.
EPEC(extra points for extra cookies):make your card in pastel colors for Spring. Sheron loved pastel colors, especially pink.
SEND CARDS TO: This week our destination is each other! Once a month, we send our cards to each other!
Check out THIS NEW THREADin the TEApot Tuesday Extras Forum. If you are participating in the card exchange please go to this thread and follow the instructions. Make sure to sign up by bedtime on Saturday 30th April 2022. Your destination recipient will be PM'd to you.

Oh what fun! Thanks Linda for hosting the challenge and sharing your story and pictures. How fortunate you are to have your mother's teapots. I'm captivated by the tea set with the legs. I've never seen teacups like that before. Here is my card: MMTPT718-tea time by vickydee at Splitcoaststampers
