Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is:peeps321/Polly
CHALLENGE: Use either dots or stripes on your card or both if you dare!
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Encouragement, Sunshine, Cheer
Ashley (amacy0411) requested a party for her friend Sharon. Sharon has been having a hard time over the past few years. She is an avid runner and after running a marathon in Africa she developed an autoimmune disease that is causing her body to break down. She recently had a knee replacement and back surgery. She is in constant pain, but you would never know it. She loves cats and running. Sadly, she is unable to run anymore, but hopes that may change after her back surgery and knee heals. She doesn't have any family close to her and doesn't get out much since her love of running has ended. Faith (PeonySnail) and Ashley took her to a cardmaking party and she really liked it. She would be thrilled to receive cards from our group.

Here's mine using some scrap designer paper: blsr One In A Melon by raduse at Splitcoaststampers Not sure yet if I'm going to be sending this to Sharon or if I'll make a different one and send this to a friend of mine.
Another great challenge, Polly. I decided to go with dots, and since Sharon is a runner who loves cats, I couldn’t resist combining the two. This will go in the mail today.
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9

This is my card for Sharon, It has been one wild week, everytime I started a challenge something went wrong. 1st me, now my husband is having issues of some sort. Waiting for all his blood work to come in. Then my phone crashed. We spent 2 hrs. at Verizon to get everything back and all my passwords were lost. This is the 1st time in 2 days I'm able to start a challenge and comment on anything.
All is going great with me, today I planted 5 Azaela bushes and 10 different types of flowers. My husband helped with the Azaela's.
I miss being able to make cards all day.
Thank you all to everyone who participated in this challenge! Sharon is really feeling the love and is so appreciative of all the cards she is receiving. You are all so kind and thoughtful!!
I used horizontal patterned strips of paper, which create strips for my card background! I'm late to the party, so my card will be a birthday card for my sister-in-law.
