Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT686 HERE COMES THE SUN!
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge -- the more, the merrier! You automatically become a "TEApotter" the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something about the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary-- it's not a requirement, but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: casep/Pat
CHALLENGE: Are you singing yet? Certainly one of the all-time great songs by the Beatles. Let's put out those sun stamps or die cuts and make a sunshiny card to brighten Benzi's day.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Hi/Hello, Feel Better, Miss You
Warm fuzzies going out this week to our own SCS sister, Benzi (Brenda). Brenda recently fractured her knee cap (Ouch!) and has been in a brace from her ankle just about to her hip. Thankfully, her last x-ray showed her knee is healing so surgery won't be necessary at this time but she will continue to need therapy. As you can imagine, Brenda is going a little stir crazy having been laid up now for a few weeks. On top of that she has been unable to make cards! This week. let's bring the cards to Brenda along with a little cheer. We've been told Brenda loves summer and sunshine. She also loves snowmen, but does not enjoy the cold. She had a fondness for houndstooth and plaid. Religious and/or spiritual sentiments are welcome.
DESTINATION:
Brenda O'Rear
136 E Oak Hill Dr.
Florence, AL 35633
USA

This card was quick and simple.. I've made tons of cards with "Frankie goes to the North Pole" Spellbinders die set... he fits all kinds of themes for cards ! LOL
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
Here's my sunshine headed to Benzi. I kept it simple. After spending much of the year packing and moving, packing and moving again, then unpacking and setting up house, I haven't had much crafty time. I'm finally about settled now and getting back into the groove. Just waiting for my mojo to catch up.
Sometimes life just gets in the way of crafting. - I hoped to get a card done for Brenda but a new one is not gonna happen so I found a sunny tropical card in my stash that I'll send her.

Oh my goodness, I am so thrilled to be the recipient of the teapot challenge. Wow! I look forward to receiving all the sunshine cards or any kind of card. I have been receiving cards for a while now from wonderful SCSer's. I love when hubby brings in the mail and there are cards. It sure brightens my days.
I started therapy yesterday and have a hinged brace now with the dial so I can't move my knee back but so far. As I progress, the dial will be moved. I hate it! I was in the first brace for 7 weeks almost.and will be in this one for 6 wks. Ugh! My therapist said I will be in therapy probably 8 weeks.
I can't wait to start making cards again and get back to this wonderful site.
Again, thank you all so much. And, be careful to NEVER fracture your knee cap.
Hugs to all.
