Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: ShoeGirl/Lisa
CHALLENGE: Anyone who knows teen boys knows how much they love video games. There are also other fun things boys love. Today in honor of Ethan let's make some fun boy cards. If you have any ways to create a game card I am sure he would love that on a card. Have fun with it. I can't wait to see your cards.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Encouragement, Uplifting, Thinking of You, Hi/Hello (Spiritual/Religious Cards are Welcome)
While browsing Instagram recently, Jacqueline stumbled upon a post with a photo of a young man in a hospital bed. Upon reading the post, she learned that Ethan, a 17 year old from Utah, had just been diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago and is now undergoing chemo treatments. Ethan’s mom, Saedi (IG @saedio / @saedilikescrafts), asked the IG crafty community to keep Ethan in their thoughts and prayers. It was discovered he has multiple cancerous tumors on his spine, hip and head that will require lengthy treatment. Saedi has been posting updates indicating how upbeat and positive Ethan’s been through all of this. Jacqueline reached out to Saedi offering a teaparty for Ethan as our guest of honor. This young man has been through, what has likely been, one of the toughest months of his life and has more hurdles ahead of him on his road to recovery. Let’s send some happy mail Ethan’s way this week chock full of happy thoughts and extra prayers. Ethan recently started his senior year of high school. His favorite color is red. He plays the piano, loves X-box, Marvel movies and comedians. If you have an extra card (or two) consider sending additional thoughts and prayers to his family, (mom, Saedi, dad, Dan and 2 younger sisters and 3 brothers). Scripture and religious messages are welcome.

I don't have anything with a video game, nor x-box, no piano... and I thought my stash of dies included everything ! LOL. I made another Mr Incredible card for Ethan: Mr Incredible by mac4551 at Splitcoaststampers
That little teapot you picked Lisa is ADORABLE! I've checked in on Saedi's IG and it looks like Ethan has had a tough week with 5 days of chemo and feeling sick. This will be a nice pick-me-up for him.
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
