Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: ShoeGirl/Lisa
CHALLENGE:
I love a good farm card and rarely get a chance to make them. Today's challenge in honor of Miss Betty's 94th birthday celebration let's put some kind of farm animal on our cards.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Birthday, Hello, Celebrate
This week, we’re revising a past teaparty recipient at the request of our lovely Sabrina (SCS Cook22). Back in January of 2018, we sent warm fuzzies to Aunt Betty. Well, Aunt Betty is turning 94 years young on July 30 and we’re going to help he celebrate. Aunt Betty loves all things “farm” – deer, flowers, owls, trees and her little Yorkie. She loves and appreciates every little detail and will be thrilled to receive birthday cards. Scripture messages are welcome.

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail[email protected].Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
I remember our earlier party for Aunt Betty. I went back to see the card I made then...didn't want to repeat myself...LOL...Here's my birthday card for Betty
Here is my card for Aunt Betty. I didn't include a dog, but have farm animals on the front and there is a chicken on the inside. I haven't finished the envelope yet, so it may get a few animals as well.

I believe Betty was the recipient of my first Teaparty Challenge. I have been sending her cards for special occasions ever since. I am delighted to send her this birthday card: MMTPT678 Betty's Birthday by casep at Splitcoaststampers

I received a message during the week to say that Betty had started receiving cards and was saving them to open on her birthday to help make it feel like a special day. So thank you, everyone.
I'm working at my "Challenge Catch-up" goal. In honor of Aunt Betty's 94th birthday (in 2021), my card features vintage cows...sure to be found on almost any farm, especially Old MacDonald's Farm.
As I'm late to the party, I will use this card as a Father's Day card for my son-in-law who has been so good at introducing my little three-year-old granddaughter to all kinds of animals from the time she was just three months old!
