Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: Shoegirl/Lisa
CHALLENGE:
During this pandemic I have found that music is one of the things that has kept me going. And if I get a chance to dance like no one is watching it really brightens my spirits. Today's challenge create a music or dance card. You don't have to do both but it will be fun to see if you can do both on your cards.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Encouragement, Hello, Sunshine (Please, NO “Get Well” cards)
We received this week’s teaparty request from SCS Contrapat (Pat) for her sweet friend, Sherry. Sherry has been fighting glioblastoma (brain cancer) for several years and has defied the odds of her diagnosis. Unfortunately, Sherry’s health has declined recently and she and her husband, Earl, have had to make the difficult decision in opting for hospice care. Pat knows Sherry and Earl through contradancing – Sherry is a dancer and Earl plays a mean fiddle (he plays with a nationally known dance band called Bare Necessities); however, Covid has seriously curtailed Earl’s career. And, despite her fight, Sherry has remained very upbeat. They live in the country and both love dance and music. Sherry loves flowers, trees and wildlife and is fond of blue and purple.

love Fred and Ginger... and the splattering is perfect.. it's 'splatter'. I did some on my Christmas cards and at first thought it may have messed them up... but continued and was pleased at all the different patterns from the splattering.. Music and Dance is beautiful with it's dimensions....
Great job on all your cards ...
I happen to have a ballerina die and will get a card out in tomorrows mail !
made my card and tried to upload it (for the upteenth time trying to post pics) and it did post (for the FIRST time), but not sure where. I didn't find any place to type in KEYWORD MMTPT659. My card is a blue vinyl ballerina with a floral tape with tiny prima flowers - in case anyone spots it ! LOL. It is in 'my gallery' but I have no clue how to move it. Although Sonja sent great instructions, I just don't see where to move it into the address at the top of the browser nor the windows listed in my instructions to copy and paste the address.

I originally created this for the Virtual Stamp Night, but it is musical, so I think she may like it. I do not have any dancers and this was just finished, so I will send it to her.

God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
This challenge is very dear to my heart as my mother (who was also my best best friend) died of glioblastoma, in a loving and caring hospice residence, almost seven years ago. The residence was a short five minute drive from where we lived and I was able to spend every day of her last four months with her. Coincidentally, I’m up in the Chicago suburbs this week helping our adult daughter move into her new condo, and I drove past my mom’s former hospice residence yesterday, and lots of memories surfaced - then, this morning, I saw this challenge!
I won’t be home till the weekend but as soon as I’m back in my stamp room I will gladly make a card for Sherry. I just took a peak in the gallery and all your cards for Sherry are amazing!!!

I jump in here to show you a picture made by my uncle from the cards he got, and I'm sure they didn't arrive all yet, they are so proud to show this!!
and the great thing about getting a hand crafted card is there shouldn't be too many duplicates (I do scraplift from Pinterest).. My birthday is Valentines day, and for many years I'd get at least 5-6-7 duplicate cards (Hallmark) and always laughed that people thought alike - but it was because there weren't that many cards that said Happy Birthday on Valentines Day or For Your Valentine Birthday. LOL
I see my card on the table: the black and white card, with double hearts in black and white: one as the bride and one as the groom - a scraplift from Pinterest !!

Sorry I’m late, was out of town last week and just got back into my stamp room today. I don’t have many music or dance stamps...just an old, old, PSX foam set, but it still works!
