Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: peeps321/Polly
CHALLENGE:
Include a “pair” on your card. It can be a pair of lovebirds, two flowers, two bells, a pair of numbers (like 5 and 0), two die cuts, two bows, etc
Frans and Maria , dear aunt and uncle to our own Anita/snietje, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on February 26th. Of course due to the Covid situation they can't have a big party. Their daughter Moniek asked Anita and other friends and family to make cards to celebrate their big day. They both love nature, cycling, gardening and of course their children and grandchildren. They have a pony and a pond with fish and frogs. They also grow vegetables and love to share these with family.

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail[email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
I'll be back tomorrow with a card for Anita's aunt and uncle...my aunt and uncle celebrated 50 years also. We have a primary election in Wisconsin and I'm working. It's going to be a looooooong day, only one thing to vote on. Plus it snowed last night...plus it is still pretty cold.

wow - amazing card Anita! Just so happens in the past few days I've made a few anniversary/wedding cards for my stash. I will have one in the mail today !
LOVE the concept of Teapot Tuesday Challenge and hope to participate regularly. I made a card for Frans and Maria’s 50th anniversary and will upload it shortly.
One question...does anyone know the exact postage to Netherlands from USA for an A2 card? I looked online and it appears to be $1.20 an ounce but I would appreciate verification; I can’t get to the actual Post Office till sometime next week and I’d rather just pop it in the mailbox today so it gets there quicker.
Thanks!

Thanks for joining us for the Teaparty Glittergal (I guess I don't know your first name). You are correct about International postage..it is $1.20 for under an ounce. You can use what stamps you have and put it in a mailbox. I usually pick up one or two international stamps when I'm at the PO as we now and then have an overseas Teaparty. They're forever stamps so all is good.
You are officially a Teapotter!
Thank you Polly and Anita for the warm welcome! I think my card was just uploaded to the gallery. Not sure how to link it, and unfortunately the thread that explains “how to” seems to be broken. Here’s a try. Happy 50th Anniversary!! by Glittergal at Splitcoaststampers

Hi Linda, Welcome to the Tea Party. I'm so glad you've joined us and hope to see more of your cards in the future. Wanted to let you know that your link worked perfectly. Also, Polly already told you about the postage. I don't get to the PO often, so I just use three regular stamps. I know it's more than I need, but it's what's handy. I need to take Polly's advice and have a couple International forever stamps on hand for future tea parties.
Here is my card. Sorry it's late but I will get it in the mail tomorrow.
Happy day

Thanks for sharing this Anita. Glad they are enjoying the shower of card love, It's so wonderful that we could participate in their celebration.
Due to the snow storm that crippled Texas 2 weeks ago, I am behind. But, I wanted to make & send a card to recognize this milestone anniversary. Here is my card. It is going in the mail today.
Missed this one back in February, so I'm playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking just for the fun of it. My card is a celebration of my son on Father's Day.
