Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun! This week's challenge hostess is: Shoe Girl/Lisa CHALLENGE: Our recipient this week likes kitties. Oh how I love kitties too. So any fun theme on your card works as long as you add a kitty.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Encouragement, Cheerful, Thinking of You, Sunshine, Hello SCS TLady (Becky) noticed fellow Splitcoaststamper, KonaRose (Rosy), hadn’t posted anything for a while and reached out to her. When Becky asked if everything was alright, Rosy replied that she was "not feeling herself this past year." Additionally, her husband is having memory problems and not speaking as much. His memory issues are more pronounced since being out of work due to Covid. Rosy told Becky she doesn't divulge much here on SCS about her problems and hopes to be back creating with us soon. We hope Rosy feels better and comes back soon too! In the meantime, let’s flood her with happy thoughts and encouraging cards. Rosy likes kitties, Autumn, the ocean, and anything nautical.

Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail[email protected].Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
Memory issues, dementia in all its forms, have got to be the most terrible thing ever. I feel for her, being a caretaker can be as bad if not worse. Very sad. I hope we can give her a little support and some smiles. I believe Covid will lead to more mental health issues than we can imagine. But we have hope.

Reason: Sigh, still no forum fix. Link fixed by me :D.
Well, I don't know why my photo looks so blurry. It looks perfectly alright the copy I still have on the PC. Rosy is a sweetheart - she's one of the gallery mods and often makes me smile in the mornings when I read what she wrote the night before.
That was super sweet of Becky to notice and reach out to Rosy! Rosy always leaves the sweetest comments. If I cannot play along with a new card, I know I have some kitties in a box begging to be mailed!
I can't get it uploaded. I put the card in the mail!
Are you trying to add your picture to the post? I'm not aware of any gallery issues, Joan. Inserting here is broken and linking still requires using workarounds but is possible.
Are you a fan club member? If you aren't and you try to post on a Sunday, it won't appear until Monday. No upload on Sunday, except for fan club. If that isn't the issue, then no clue...how frustrating.
