Welcome to the Teapotters. Any theme is perfectly fine. You can choose your own theme or take inspiration from the teapot and cookies that Anita has included in the challenge.
Thanks for your reply. I'll have to check out the teapot inspiration and see what I can come up with.
I’d like to send Cheryl a card and will get onto it this week. Happy Sunday everyone...the sun is shining here even though it’s chilly.

I'll be back later to comment on everyone's cards. I just verified that Cheryl was one of the first ones to comment on one of my first cards when I actually started posting cards here.

This is my first time participating in Teapot Tuesday so I hope I can link my card correctly. I hope these cards help lift Cheryl's spirits and that she starts feeling better soon.

Hello Teapotters, Cheryl has asked me to pass on her heartfelt thanks for all of your beautiful cards, messages of support, prayers and love. Cheryl feels so bad that she cannot comment, PM or email. I keep assuring her that should be the last thing on her mind.
Cheryl is happy for me to share her story and hopes that her long absence for the foreseeable future will be better understood. Cheryl has pancreatic cancer and commences 6 months of chemo next week. She is an itty bitty precious thing only weighing 104lbs and is very weak and tired. Physically and emotionally Cheryl is not able to send her thanks to everyone individually but wants you to know how grateful she is to be part of this wonderful community.

Oh Susie, that is so awful for Cheryl! I'm sure everyone is grateful to bring any bit of joy we can to her during these difficult days! Tell her she's in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the update! I hope her mailbox is overflowing with paper hugs!
Miss Susie, thanks for keeping us in the loop of things and Cheryl is in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, DonnaJeanne we do not choose cancer it chooses us---have had it twice and say not want it any more.
Sending heaps of love to Cheryl. Also, sending prayers for a complete healing. I am sure missing her sweet smile and kindness on this site.

[QUOTE=CherylQuilts]Anita,
Thank you so much for the Teaparty in our behalf. I am overwhelmed with the beautiful cards and the amazing notes inside. I am totally unable to comment on anything and am doing very few emails, but I did want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! I have a long road ahead to recovery.
Thank you Susie and Anita for the updates.
Cheryl has definitely been in my thoughts, and I hoped I would be able to make a new card for her. Since that was not happening, I found this in my stash - can you see the color of water in the patterns?
Just a very quick pop-in to say thank you with tears in my eyes for the joy you continue to bring me. Thank you for having a tea party for me and making so many amazing cards. I left a comment on the DTGD thread. I am so overwhelmed with all the cards we continue to receive. They are so beautiful, and the comments inside are so touching. Thank you for cheering me on and praying for me (and us). I love you all so dearly and miss you. Here's the best I can do with a big virtual hug.
hello everyone, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I sent this card to Cheryl Scrivens a few months ago and then a thread on General Stamping Talk renewed my energy today. I love LONG cards, I use 9 1/4 x 4 so that I can mail in a normal business envelope and use a single Forever stamp.
anyway, in responding to her, I remembered that I never posted this card I sent to Cheryl Scrivens. it is a good time to remember her again, imho.
best to you all in 2020!
Teresa
