Hello ladies, it is my turn to host this weeks Teaparty. As DH and I are away in our caravan, I have had this challenge safely tucked away in the Staging gallery for many weeks now.
Disaster struck when I attempted to make the challenge go "live". The dreaded screen refreshing was followed by an error code and then a completely blank screen. Our teaparty challenge is floating in cyber space :(.
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
CHALLENGE
Our challenge this week is to "say it with flowers". Let's fill vases, tubs, baskets, boxes, pots....you get the drift, with flowers. My original teaparty had links to some fun embossing techniques, but I dare not click off this screen to find them LOL.
DESTINATION
Fellow SCS caterinafmig is in need of a hearty pick-me-up after recently being discharged from the hospital. Friend and fellow SCS, smileyjoan (Joan) has requested a teaparty for Caterina to help lift her spirits while on the road to recovery. Caterina likes flowers and will appreciate religious themes. Thinking of you cards would be appropriate.

Ahhhhh Snietje and Sabrina, thank you both for your help. I wish we could all have cookies and tea together in real life. Teapotters is the next best thing though. Xxx

Yeah, so glad you were able to get this live Miss Susie. Technology can certainly be a challenge but you won. I am still using up more of my hoarded stash of punched flowers so I made a few cards to have a couple extra for future quick cards. I will add sentiments as I need the cards.
the Spellbinders small die of the month happens to be all flowers and buds....card will be created and sent today. At some point, I will try and learn to download photos so I can post my cards. Cards posted already are absolutely beautiful ! Wonderful inspiration for creativity...

I'm sorry you had such angst, Susie. I can feel the stress levels! Your refresh problems sound as pesky as my regular connection drops - which appear to be a function of Windows and not of my ISP. Grrr.
I made two, one for Caterina and one for my stash...fun challenge.
Susie, thank you so very much for this wonderful challenge today, and thank you for your persistence too- it is much appreciated. Thanks to you, I got what I thought was going to be a very hard card to make done for a friend. Yay! So I made one card for Caterina and one card for my friend in her favorite colors - whew! And Yay!
ladies- I am so very sure Caterina is going to love the cards. She is a very humble lady. Thanks for honoring her!

I am so late but hope still a fine hello for caterina. Here is some flowers for her, had some friends that wanted to bring her some too...:0)

Ladies,
i uploaded this card early this a.m., 8 hrs later, i never received an email from administrator that it was approved, i never saw it on public gallery, just My Gallery where it has a few views, but not sure how that happens. when i click on the photo, it opens and lists the category: S U Gallery R- S, SLice of Life: where i chose to put it when uploading. When i go to that specific gallery A Slice of Life, it does NOT show. It has a few views, but it never went public. I sent a message to the Contact Us OTHER listing, and I asked Miss Boo, who said this recently happened similarly to her, and she just uploaded all again and it worked fine 2nd time.
I will do that tomorrow., but just wondered if any of you are out there, and will click on this link to My Gallery. , let me know if i should do something other than upload it again? should i DELETE it first from my gallery? Can you leave a comment on it to show me that it is live and you can see it?

forgive me that i am new, not super techy, just unsure of myself and don't want to make anything worse for the administrator of the photos uploads.
Teresa...I can't see your card when I click on your link...it still says image pending approval....The only Teaparty hostess who is a gallery moderator is Sabrina-Cook22....and it's over night for her right now as she's in Ireland. I can send her a message so she can take a look when she gets up to see if she can approve it or give you instructions as to what to do.... So check back in this thread or perhaps she will be sending you a message....ok?
I would love to have made a card for Caterina's tea party, but I'm just getting back into the swing of things after my hand surgery, and I desparately need to design this one for a dear friend's birthday, so I am just entering the challenge.
