Default Stash Busters November 2020

Does anyone else have those moments where you feel more like a collector than a scrapbooker? Here’s a challenge to help you get those collected items off your shelves and into your scrapbooks by using certain items from your stash. When you’re done, link your completed layout here so we can all get excited over it! Let's get started.

Your challenge is to use a minimum of THREE from the list below on your layout:

• Vellum
• Metal
• Fibers (baker's twine, embroidery floss, hemp twine, etc.)
• Overlay
• Rub-ons
• Embossing

You can use additional products, but you must use at least three items from the list. If you don't have an item in your stash, please don't rush out and buy it! Just substitute a similar item from your stash. When posting in the gallery, please use keyword Stash20Nov, include a description of how you used each item, and link back to this post. Happy hunting!

My sample: Blue Angels

FYI: I am on the design team over at Joy of Sets Tic-Tac-Toe challenge blog, and since this is my month to design the challenge board, I decided to use all the items above for the Joy of Sets challenge. Feel free to hop on over there and check out the board, and if you get a tic-tac-toe in any direction, you can also play along and link up using your SCS gallery. Not all the design team will be able to comment, but it would be fun to see my fellow scrappers playing along and perhaps driving some traffic over here to SCS - heehee!

I did all the elements except the rub one bc I don’t have any! I used clear word stickers instead to get a close mimic anyway.

Amy, I commented on your layout in the gallery, but also wanted to mention here that the clear word stickers are a great substitute for rub-ons, and it's totally within the spirit of the challenge. After all, the goal is to use up products that would otherwise just be sitting in our stash!

I finished using vellum, twine, Rub-ons, metal, went a little overboard with the metal brads.
